12/3 Forecast

Good morning!

The tack alert continues for Seven Streams, 8-Track, Hospital Hill (we <3 the Kreps) and Syncline. It’s going to be chilly at Syncline today, as strong easterlies rip through your spandex and chill the sweat from your skin.

If you’re a fan of high-wind windsurfing or kiting, you can head to Stevenson or Rooster Rock today for 35+. Models suggest westerlies tomorrow afternoon, but I’m not convinced yet. East winds return this weekend, along with central coast northerlies.

Snowflakes seems likely tomorrow. No, I’m not talking about Meadows. I’m talking Hood River, but we’re not going to see much accumulation. Same thing goes for the mountain, where we might see an inch or two. Long-term forecasts suggest fresh snow for the mountains Tuesday-Thursday next week.

Have a great day today! Stay warm…
