11/18 forecast

Good morning!

There’s not much going on in the weather world this morning, as we’re between systems. That’s not going to last long, as another strong system hits the coast this afternoon.

It’s speed sailing delight this week, with strong southerlies at the coast both today and tomorrow. It’s also happy days for Seattle windsurfers and kiters, who get two big southerly days in a row.

As for you skiers and riders and freeheelers, today’s probably the day to get on the hill. Snow levels climb to 5500 feet tomorrow, boding poorly for a good day on the slopes. If you must go tomorrow or Friday, make it tomorrow, as the winds looks nuclear force on Friday in the Cascades.

Snow levels return to sub-pass levels Friday afternoon, setting up a potentially very good weekend on the slopes.

Off to work now…

Have a great day today!
