Hey all! I'm still looking for a 54-56cm carbon road bike (2005 or later) with ultegra or better components. Help me, please... my friends are kicking my ass on their super fast road bikes. I want to keep up!

Onshore flow continues today with early winds in the low teens. It won’t be long before winds hit the upper teens in the corridor and at Stevenson. By afternoon, we’ll have 20-23 from Stevenson out to Doug’s.

Tomorrow looks quite windy as a front slams into the Northwest midday. Morning winds in the teens give way to 27-31 from Hood River out to Maryhill tomorrow afternoon.

Saturday and Sunday bring mid twenties, at least, as an upper trough keeps the coast cloudy and cool

Mountain bikers, someone named Brian says he rode Falls Creek last Sunday and it is clear all the way from Old Man Pass. Also, tonight is the Post and Pint Ride. Meet at Dirty Fingers at 5:30.

This afternoon at 3pm, swing by IPS skate shop in Hood River for Day one of the Hood River Slider Jam. It’s the Es Game of skate, where the best local skaters show off their flatland tricks. The winner gets a trip to California to compete against the nation’s best skaters! At 8pm, join all the riders at Brians Downstairs for a rider party!

This evening at the Hood River event site you can join uber-famous windsurfers Michi Schwager, Robby Naish and Dave Kalama for stand up paddle races. $5 gets you into the race. Skippers’ meeting is at the east end of the event site at 6:30. Get there early to sign up!

Also at the event site is the Hood River Triathlon. Meet at 545 for a 500 yard swim, 7 mile bike ride and 2 mile run!

What about far east on Friday/Saturday/Sunday, i.e. Threemile Canyon, for the Spokane, Bosie travelers.
Thanks

As usual, the east got completely ignored--thanks for the reply. Friday wind was 4.6 down to 4.0 in the evening. Saturday was 5.5 up and down on Saturday, then ramped up to <4.0 on Saturday evening. Swells were perfect the whole time--lots of soul surfing!
