Good morning skiers, riders and freeheelers (I miss saying that every morning!)...

First off, the work party roundup. From 9-noon we have a work party at Doug’s Beach, hosted by CGWA and Pat Quigley. Bring food, water, and sunscreen. While the wind is relatively light this morning, take this chance to make Doug’s beautiful.

Before you head to Doug’s, stop by the White Salmon Firehouse for the annual Firemen’s Pancake Breakfast. Firemen… pancakes… unifroms... bacon... all of my favorite things in one place. Breakfast started at 6am, so you’re already late! Even I'm late, and it's only 6:03 as I write this.

Windsurfers and kiters, gradients started off at .11 this morning. That was enough for a mid teen start, and once the sun rises and thermal assistance kicks in, we’ll see 22-25 from Stevenson out to Doug’s. We may even see 24-28 in the corridor today if Portland doesn't heat up too much (unlikely) It’s looking like we’ll have a little more marine push tomorrow, for a 20-23 morning in the corridor and 23-27 afternoon from Stevenson out to Doug’s.  Monday looks like a repeat of today.

Mountain bikers, let’s call it perfect conditions everywhere from Post Canyon to Oak Ridge. Ride today, and mark your calendar for a work party next Saturday. We’ll be starting work on the new whoopdie trail next weekend. Many, many thanks go out to CAMBA and SDS Lumber Company for making this happen. Here's the current trail recap (please email me if you know of others): Post Canyon, Nestor Peak, Syncline, Hospital Hill, Oak Ridge, and Dog River.

Skiers, Riders and Freeheelers, this is your last weekend for winter-priced tickets at Timberline. Get up there and get in some turns under the sunshine. Remember that the Palmer lift is a great way to access BC skiing (I had a dream about BC skiing last night!)

Boaters, your numbers: The Hood’s at 5.2 feet, the White Salmon’s at 4.82 feet, The Little White’s at 799 cfs, and the Wind River’s at 831 cfs.
