4.6 Forecast

This is just a quick heads up for Wednesday. It's going to be a nuker for you windsurfers and kiteboarders. We'll have a thermal trough in the desert and weak high pressure and cold marine air west of the Cascades. I probably don't have to tell you that this is a CLASSIC setup.

Given the strength of the marine push, best winds will likely be east of Hood River. 30-35+ from Doug's eastward would not surprise me. I expect the best (and warmest) conditions to be at Arlington (or maybe that's just wishful thinking).

The ski forecast doesn't look great for the next week. We'll see a couple of inches of snow in the mountains on Wednesday night and Thursday, but we're not looking at a significant powder dump. That's a huge bummer, because powder in April is always fun.

Anyway, I'll see you on the water Wednesday!
