Saturday 1/31... Spring Round #2

Not much to report in the weather forecast today. We'll see a bit of wind in the Gorge today, but models have backed way off on the forecast. I think Gremlins may live in the system during winter, producing all sorts of random forecasts. At this point, it looks like the best chance for windsurfing and kiting will be from Mosier out to Maryhill, probably focused at Doug's. Gradients aren't amazing at this point, and they're not going to get much stronger today. So... think low to mid twenties at best.

The mountain is getting a nice round of winds today. 20-40 at Meadows right now, with no new snow. It was looking like we'd get some rain today, but now it looks like precipitation, if any, will be in the form of snow.

Spring returns starting tomorrow, at least on the mountain. It looks like we'll see spring in the Gorge as well, with forecast temperatures this week in the forties and fifties with sunshine. Gradients will be pretty weak, so we may dodge the Nothing bullet. at this point, sunshine looks like a reasonable call through Wednesday.

Have a great day today!
