Good morning everyone!
I walked out to my car this morning and noticed east winds blowing in my parking lot. If it's easterly at my house, it's blasting in Stevenson.
The computer agrees. 26 in Stevenson this morning. The interesting part of this is that winds will actually pick up as the day goes on. A strong ridge builds east of the Cascades, increasing gradients this afternoon and overnight. Easterlies continue tomorrow morning in the 25-29 range at Stevenson.
Sunday and Monday look windy as well. Easterlies again.
On a ironic (or maybe just disturbing note), the Department of Homeland Security is advertising on/sponsoring NPR. Thoughts?
