Wednesday Mountain View Forecast

Hi Everyone,

I would like, once again, to thank the firefighters for... well, giving me a view of Mt. Adams by cutting down burning trees. They also gave me a view of the river. Mixed blessing, eh?

The point of this is that there's quite a bit of snow on Mt. Adams. By the end of the week, there will be more. The snow level drops to 3000 feet over the next few days. Keep that in mind if you're planning on biking or hiking at higher elevations.

But you're waiting to hear about the wind, right? Tomorrow looks windy, but rain will complicate the picture. We'll start with low pressure in the desert. As the day goes on, high pressure sets up along the coast. It'll be windy to start the day, 21-25 east of the cloud line (duh), and should be 25-28 later. I like the later part, because I have to work in the morning tomorrow.

Speaking of working, I should go.

Have a great day!
