Hi Everyone,
Looks like another out east day today. I wasn't going to do the forecast this morning, but then NPR one-upped me by telling people it would be very windy at Arlington today. I couldn't let them get away with that. So...
Gradients are .09/.09/.22 now, suggesting Maryhill for best winds once the clouds clear out. Models, however, point to Arlington/Threemile today. I think winds will average in the upper twenties out there (remember, the sensor reads high at Arlington), meaning 3.7-4.2 on the water. High pressure is supposed to build in, clearing clouds from the central Gorge. If this happens, and that's a big if, given the extent of cloud cover now, winds will pick up in the Corridor and at Mosier/Doug's/Rowena too.
A huge upper level low settles in off the coast tomorrow, turning Gorge winds easterly.
Rain Wednesday. Good for mountain biking. =) Also on Wednesday, ripping southerlies on the coast.
Now... first finish coffee. Then go work.
You guys stay out of trouble and have fun today!
Temira
