Hi everyone,
I hurt.
And I have not had coffee.
The gradient is only .08 right now. That's a disappointing start after yesterday's finish of .19. Models are still suggesting wind this afternoon, so I'll stick with that, despite the lackluster start. A weak upper level low will cross the Northwest this afternoon (before dark, we hope). Following that, high pressure rebuilds at the coast. As this scenario plays out, Corridor winds will climb into the 24-28 range. There's a slight possibility of more wind than that for a brief period of time.
Models are suggesting quite a bit of wind tomorrow afternoon over a wide area of the Gorge. (I'm not giving numbers because... because... because... nobody brought me coffee this morning.)
Sunday looks like 22-28, but winds will shift eastward as a stronger system possibly send some rain into the western Gorge and Cascades.
Did I mention I hurt? The first person to come over here and give me a massage gets free wind forecasts for the next year.
Coffee... massage... I'm demanding this morning, aren't I?
You guys have a great day today!
Temira (I approved this forecast)
p.s. Did I mention that I endorse Arthur Babitz and his Babka for mayor?
