Hi Sailors!
I just want to let you know that the fundamentals of the gorge are strong.
Even so, with only a .10 east gradient today, we'll see 20-25 in Stevenson and nothing better.
Mother Nature offered me marginal east winds, but I said, "Thanks but no thanks."
Tomorrow afternoon looks better, assuming we don't end up with thunderstorms. If we don't see lightning and hear thunder, we'll have 22-26 in the Corridor for a couple of hours in the afternoon. We'll have 23-27 way out east late in the evening. Longest lasting winds tomorrow will be at Stevenson, Mosier and Arlington. Maryhill may be an ok choice as well, but I'm not sure about the direction yet. If you must sail in the corridor, make sure you head to the beach as soon as it picks up. No lollygagging.
Well, maybe the fundamentals of the Gorge aren't so strong after all.
Thursday's models were looking great, but now they aren't looking so good.
I can't take four more years of this lackluster wind.
Have a good day.
I'm Temira, and I approved this message. I also endorse Arthur Babitz for mayor.
