Windy Sundays make me happy too.

Hi everyone, especially you windsurfers and kiteboarders who had a fantastic day yesterday! I’d also like to say “Thank you” to well, the weather, for placing high pressure over the North Pacific, where it belongs.

If your’e a windsurfer or kiteboarder who enjoyed yesterday, you’ll enjoy today. A .10 gradient at sunrise gave us upper teens on the water. It won’t take long for winds to climb into the 25-29 range again, all day, from the corridor to Maryhill. With high pressure off the coast and low pressure in the desert, upper flow will be westerly, making the Maryhill section of the river sailably steady. It's hard to tell at this point if the Corridor will be great again early. I've got my fingers crossed.

Fun events today include the CGWA swap meet a the Expo center parking lot this morning. Afterwards, cross the street for the Northwave customer appreciation BBQ. Don’t’ forget to test a sail while you’re there.

Tomorrow continues the windy streak. A system crosses early, dragging low clouds into the western Gorge. As high pressure moves closer to the coast, winds climb. 22-26 to start, 25-29 later as high pressure builds.

Time for coffee.

Have a great day!
