I go to coast. You go to...

Hello campers (that's directed at you lucky bastards sleeping in your cars down at pistol river tonight),

I'm going to the coast tomorrow, so you're getting the forecast tonight. Too lazy to read? Listen. =)

Basically, things look bleak until Wednesday night, unless you're a kiter or windsurfer working on your gecko or slalom skills. Looks like a 10-15 start tomorrow with a big midday lull as Portland heat equals Hood River heat. Afternoon thermals give rise to 18-22, at best.

Next chance for wind is Wednesday afternoon with a late marine push. Best bet then is Stevenson. With gusty conditions in the corridor, it'll be fun for spinnaker sailing.

Tuesday looks like a lovely wakeboarding day.

In the meantime, the coast will be rocking for at least the next three days. Tomorrow is 20kt at the north and 35kt at the south. Next day is 25kt at the north and 35kt at the south. Next day is the same. 8 foot swell tomorrow, 5 thereafter.

Sick, dude.

I'm stoked about the coast. It's always fun blasting out there with a good friend for a long day in the sun and salt. I'm headed to the secret spot...  *wink*

I'm also really super way way tired. I'm off to bed, where I'll end up reading a book rather than sleeping.

You night owls, have a great day tomorrow.

You morning people reading this on Monday, have a great day today!
