Wednesday Temira is tired forecast

Hello Sailors!

It's sailboat racing night tonight. As you know, that's my new favorite activity... well, second favorite. First new favorite is napping.

I'm afraid it's a cut-and-paste day. I'm late for work already. I clean house for a guy named Paul today. He makes me coffee. That makes me happy.

Here's your lame cut-and-paste forecast:

Windsurfers. Today doesn’t look great, unless we get a thermal bump late in the afternoon. Kiters and sailboat racers will end up with 15 to maybe 20 in Hood River around 5 pm. It appears we’ll have blasting winds starting around 9pm, which doesn’t really help us out much today.

Tomorrow’s morning sesh – that’s dawn patrol - looks good, in the mid twenty range in the corridor. The rest of the day looks like 22-25. Upper flow is southerly, so The Hook, Doug’s and Avery will have most consistent conditions.

The pernicious low exits east on Friday. High pressure and marine clouds build in behind. It’s looking epic for the 4th of July! Cross your fingers!
--end cut-and-paste--

I am actually freaking out about the way the models look for the 4th. If the models hold steady, I'm blowing off the 4th of July sailboat races for The Wall or Arlington.

For what it's worth, this smoky thunderstormy weather will go away Friday as upper flow returns to a westerly direction (it's actually SSE right now). That will make for good conditions ... not this gusty stuff.

Alright. I'm totally incoherent this morning. Didn't sleep enough. Going to track down that coffee and go to work.

Have a nice day.

Temira
