Wind today and a break tomorrow

Good morning everybody!

A mini marine push set up good gradients overnight, and winds are already in the blowing in the teens the central Gorge. By afternoon, thermal support and a midday marine push will get things rolling – mainly tumbleweeds and large swell - from The Hatchery all the way out to Arlington. Stevenson will stay in the low twenties, but everywhere else will see 27-30. With upper flow northerly, The Wall is questionable, so I’m picking Doug’s as the spot to be. I don't feel like driving, so I'll probably head to the White Salmon bridge, where swells have been awesome.

Models are all over the place for Saturday. Last night it looked like we'd have 25ish tomorrow, but now it's looking like wakeboarding conditions to start the day. By afternoon, though, we should see 15-18 in the corridor. Sunday looks better than that, but we'll have to wait and see with all this inconsistency.

Mountain bikers finally have some drier trails to play on today. Post Canyon and Nestor Peak will be as close to epic as a trail can be. Rather than boring you with more trail information, I’ll send you to the CAMBA website at camba.info where local bikers have posted everything you could ever want to know about any trail in the area

I've been avoiding mentioning the details of the radio forecast. Shy that way... but several people have asked, no, demanded that I let you know when and where. You can hear the rec report on air on 105.5 at 6:56, 7:56, 8:56, and 9:56. You can also hear it on 92.7 at 6:35 - 9:35 on the 35s.

Ok. I'll see you guys on the water from 12:00 until 3:00.
