Hello Sailors!
It's that time of year. It's time to do the daily double!
Thursday morning brings a few new inches of snow at Meadows on top of Wednesday's beautiful packed powder. As you're making turns in upper Heather (if they open Cascade... it's going to be windy), high pressure will be building in from the west. In case your weather skills have rusted during this rainy winter, high pressure to the west and low pressure to the east means wind in the Gorge!
Look for 25ish east of the cloud line for Thursday afternoon. Most likely that will be Mosier/Doug's/Rowena. If upper level flow doesn't turn too northerly, expect the Wall to be working as well.
I know everyone is hoping for wind along with 75+ degrees this weekend, but I don't think we're going to get the wind. Be prepared for epic spring skiing (snoopy-bowl) and unreal gardening conditions!
Happy spring! Have a great day!
Temira
