Good Morning Sailors!
I had a dream last night that I was on Maui and couldn't cool off. I jumped in the ocean, and was still hot. I jumped in the shower, and the water wouldn't go cool enough.
I think the dream influenced my choice of clothes this morning. Leaving the house wearing only a sweatshirt and jeans was not a good idea. It's C-O-L-D out! Mostly it's cold due to the east winds. Given the strength of east winds in Hood River, I expected to see a 7th Day of Hanukah present of 30+ easterlies. No such luck. It's just windy and cold here!
However, east winds will increase as the day goes on, building to 30ish by tomorrow morning. If you go, go early, as an approaching front will weaken easterlies as the day goes on.
The extended forecast doesn't look great for either wind or snow, but that gives us plenty of time to hit the gym.
