Sunday Rainy Forecast

Good morning sailors!

It's a lovely morning here in Hood River.

We're still on track for high pressure and clearing and wind starting Tuesday. Until then, we're looking at cold rain and snow at the ski areas (finally).

As high pressure builds on Tuesday we'll see north winds shifting to northeast at the coast and east in the Gorge. If you can stand schlogging out, you might find good windsurfing at Florence on Tuesday. Winds in the Gorge will probably be in the mid twenties range early in the week, but should build as the week goes on. NOAA is calling for strong easterlies Friday, but that's a long ways out.

As for those of you in the Seattle area, well, there isn't really any good wind news on the radar for you. I'm sorry.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Temira
