Wednesday Forecast

Good morning sailors!

First, a correction: The fashion show, guys, is 5-1 girl-to-guy ratio. Apparently I said the opposite yesterday.

Here in the Gorge, we're sitting under the dreaded inversion this morning. With little upper level flow right now, we might even suffer  under the clouds all day long. The lack of upper flow is preventing west winds, while the lack of a temperature gradient is preventing east winds. It's the doldrums in the Gorge today (perfect for road biking).

The wind situation won't improve in the near future, unless you live in Seattle. There, watch for sailable southerlies Friday afternoon (oh yes, I remember skipping all those afternoon classes at UW in favor of windsurfing at Magnuson and Richmond Beach). In the Gorge, however, we'll see nothing. Nothing, I tell you.

Well, that's about it for now. I have to go to work soon...

Have a great day!

Temira
