Good morning sailors!
If you're a kiter or light wind windsurfer, you should be on the water already. Gradients have increased ahead of a cold front, sending winds into the low, but sailable range in the Gorge. With .09 already, we can expect winds to blow through early afternoon.
As high pressure rebuilds late afternoon in the wake of the front, gradients decrease and eventually turn east.
Tomorrow looks like a solid easterly day. A heat low develops along the Oregon Coast, and high pressure takes up residence in Eastern Oregon. Head to Stevenson or Rooster for some 25+ easterlies.
Tuesday doesn't look as strong in the Gorge, but a six foot swell and light wind will make for good surfing at the coast!
Have a great rest of the weekend!
