Good morning sailors!
So much for the wind-killing inversion.
A weak cold front did a sneak-around on our protective ridge of high pressure, turning Gorge gradients westerly. We're looking at .11 this morning, enough for low twenties at the Hatchery. With the high cell off the coast, winds will be NWerly, making for not-gusty sailing. As this is a frontal system and winds could die at any time, I suggest you hit the water (not literally) now.
High pressure rebuilds over us for Friday and Saturday, turning gradients light to offshore. A front approaching Saturday night could set up a little west wind session Sunday morning.
I got home at 4:30 last night from Rabbit in the Moon (fun), and am already late for work.
Have a great day!
