Tueeeeeeeeeeeeeesday!

Good morning River Rippers!

Good news: Sunshine and beautiful weather sticks around for the next couple of days. Bad news: no wind, unless you're headed to Florence today.

I find it hard to complain about sunny, no-wind weather this late in the year. After all, this is the rainy season, the season of inversions and clouds, and we're still worrying about sunburn! We may see a minor inversion tomorrow, as high pressure holds over the desert, but mostly we're going to see sun.

High clouds approach tomorrow afternoon, ahead of a weak front. Gradients may turn briefly onshore as the front passes (overnight, however). Mostly, though, we'll be seeing light easterlies and sunshine through the end of the week.

On a more exciting note, Rabbit in The Moon plays a live set in Portland tomorrow night. This will be an amazing show; costumes are recommended, but dancing shoes are required!

See you there?

Have a great day!

Temira

Temira, nice blog you have going here. I came across the site a few days ago and, reading back through some of your previous posts, find your writings not only entertaining, but very often right on target with the forecast. Great job of pulling the various data sources together into a good forecast (and a good read also).

Keep it up! (there... now you're obligated to...) :)

Sorry for the triplicate postings. An error window popped up when I submitted the comment and I figured, what the heck, I'll try again... and yet again...

I'll ignore the error window next time :)
