Windy Wednesday (and onward) Forecast

Good morning sailors!

If you can sneak out of work tomorrow and head to the coast, you'll be doing the right thing. With a 7-10 foot swell and 20+ knot north winds all up and down the coast, it'll be a great day. High pressure building offshore and a heat low over northern California sends gradients into the nuclear range; your fun level will be in the nuclear range as well, if you can make it out!

Not much happening in the Gorge tomorrow, but Friday and Saturday will bring sailable east winds. Friday morning brings strong east winds that will hold for much of the day. Gradients will increase overnight, setting up an east wind blasting on Saturday. Not a good day to go to the nude beach at Rooster, but it will be a good day to go windsurfing at Rooster!

If you don't have the links to the free Stevenson and Rooster Rock sensors, check yesterday's wind forecast or windonthewater.com.
In all the excitement about tomorrow, I forgot to talk about today! We're still looking at west winds in the 22-24 range today. That's sailable, for those of you who don't remember...

Know why it's windy? I took all my gear out of the car yesterday to try and dry it (the car) out!

I'm going for four in a row.

Have a great day on the water!

Temira
