Good morning sailors!
It's back. Yes, the inversion is above us again today. It's not a full inversion; blue sky fills my north window, while evil inversion clouds fill the south window. Like yesterday, today will see blue sky as soon as the inversion burns away.
Desperate windsurfers and kiteboarders can head to Rooster Rock, where the NOAA sensor says it's 15-18mph: (http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest/getobext.php?wfo=mso&sid=RRWO3&num=48&raw=0&dbn=m)
Nothing is happening at Stevenson, yet, but with a .11 gradient to start the day, kiteboarding should be possible there soon.

If you want to get on the water, go now for the easterlies. As high pressure slides over us, winds will drop.
A frontal system approaching overnight will bring clouds and westerlies to the Gorge. As we've seen over the last month, it's very difficult to predict the timing or strength of these systems. Suffice it to say that we'll see gusty, but sailable, west winds tomorrow afternoon.
Thursday looks like a fantastic day to head to Pistol River, or for that matter, anywhere on the Oregon Coast. North winds kick in for a last-blast day of wavesailing. Waves should be in the 5 foot range.
Have a great day today!
Temira
