No Wind Friday Forecast

Good morning sailors!

There may be no wind for the next few days, but the weather will be beautiful over much of Oregon. In addition, butter is $1.79/lb at Rosauers right now (thanks to Ron Martin for letting us know), so it will be a great weekend for visiting Kiyokawa's and baking apple-pear pies. NOAA has downgraded the inversion forecast, so those of us in Hood River may soak up sun as well! I think the absolute best bet for this weekend is surfing, as it will be sunny at the coast!

Our best shot at hitting the water (west winds, that is) again comes Tuesday-Thursday next week, as a series of strong fronts heads our way. I can't promise high quality wind, but I can tell you that you'll be able to play in the river.

Don't forget Richard Hallman's summer action slideshow at Dog River tonight, 8pm. I, unfortunately, will be working at Abruzzo and unable to make it.

Have a great day today!
