Wednesday Forecast

Good Morning Windsurfers, Kiteboarders, and Stand-Up Paddler Rod!

Your best chance of hitting the water in the next three days is today at Arlington. Although the wind will be gusty (I accidentally typed "busty" there first), it will be wind. Look for sailable conditions in the 26-29 range this afternoon. Upper level flow is southerly, once again, making The Wall a very bad choice. It's drive and plant trees (or hitchhike to the mountain instead of driving this winter) today! After all, even if global warming isn't your cup of tea, oil is definitely a limited commodity and conservation is never a bad idea!

Tomorrow looks cold and showery, with light winds. An upper level low drops across western Oregon, limiting wind development.

Friday and Saturday bring clearing (finally) and excellent mountain biking weather.

I'm making some sort of polenta cake with honey-walnut ice cream tonight. The apple gelato is pretty much gone.

Have a great day today! I'm working all day and will miss the fun on the water.
