Good Morning Drowned Rats!

Yesterday's downpour drowned my gentle spirit. I finished 9 hours of house cleaning and wanted exercise, but the sky's floodgates were open (if only the dam operators could be so good to us). Rain doesn't usually deter me, but that cold downpour drove me to the Big Gym for the first time in years. Oh yes, master stairmaster and stationary bike. Pay homage to the weight machines and dumbbells.

I'm thinking it's time to move to a wind alert system, unless you guys just want entertainment in your inbox every morning. =)

I can tell you that today and tomorrow will bring frontal winds, but I hate to predict greatness, get you excited, and have Mother Nature send us wind overnight instead of during the sailable hours (daylight, by the way, is now less than 12 hours a day). Suffice it to say that westerly flow will increase this afternoon, hitting the low twenties in the eastern Gorge. Cool air shifts towards Oregon overnight, increasing gradients tomorrow. Mid-twenties is the call out east. Several shortwaves streak overhead during the day, making wind speeds inconsistent. Thursday looks cold - snow levels drop to around 4000 feet - with continued wet westerly flow.

We may see a bit of a break in the rain on Friday. Now that's something to get excited about!

Okay, I'd better get going or I won't get my work done today. Have a fantastic day, and avoid the gym if you can!
