Sunday Forecast

Apologies for the continued late forecasts. I've been helping out at Abruzzo Italian Grill, and haven't been getting to bed early enough to do the pre-8am forecast.

Having said that...

Marine clouds made significant inroads last night, pushing all the way to Maryhill. Although Doug's is blowing, you're better off heading east of there. Upper level flow is west, which bodes well for The Wall. Check anywhere east of the cloudline for 28-32 and patchy blowing dust and small rodents. As a front continues crawling our way, winds will continue increasing. However, you should just go windsurfing now; if the front sends rain as far as the desert (unknown variable), wind quality will suffer immensely.

Tomorrow looks windy as well, as cold air behind the front settles in Portland. It's unclear where the marine layer will set up, but we're probably looking at 22-26 in the Doug's area.

Monday brings lighter afternoon thermals, but still sailable, in the low twenties.

As you may be able to tell from the hastily constructed forecast, I'm eager to get on the water.

See you out there!
